Congratulations to the 2009 Photo Contest winners!
The 2009 Photo Contest was amazing! More than 8,000 entries were received and 115 photographs were selected as award winners. Thousands of unique and talented student photographers from across the country submitted fabulous photography, which didn't make the job of the judges very easy. Every winner of this competition from Grand Prize to Honorable Mention should be very proud of their accomplishment.
Judges for this year's Photo Contest were: Jill Chittum, the yearbook adviser at Blue Valley High School in Stilwell, Kansas and also a former photographer and photography editor for the Wichita Eagle newspaper. Jeff Kocur, the yearbook adviser at Hopkins High School in Hopkins, Minnesota. Mike McLean, a professional photographer and photography firm business owner; Mike got his start in photography working on his high school yearbook.
Thank to those that entered this year's competition. Keep up the good work! We look forward to another great contest in 2010.
