Jostens Educator Services: Rewarding Academic Achievement.

Start by making the grade. Finish by making a difference.

Of all the classes, books and lectures, the greatest lesson a first year student can learn is how to handle the big transition to high school. Getting freshmen off to a clear, focused start can pave the way to higher involvement, better grades, and in the end, graduation.

Research shows that among high school students, 9th graders have the lowest GPA and the greatest number of discipline referrals. The experiences they face during this year may be a determining factor in whether they graduate from high school or not.

Jostens can help you give your freshmen a jumpstart to a successful high school career with our First Year Student orientation program. At no cost to your school, your Jostens representative will host an orientation meeting with your first year students, including:

  • A custom multimedia presentation featuring your clubs, activities and resources that will help first year students get involved and get adjusted
  • An informative brochure for students
  • Posters to remind students about getting involved

And all you have to do is ask us to help. That's what we've been doing for over a century.helping schools celebrate achievement and build pride. Because while there are four years of high school, there is only one chance to make a difference in the lives of your students.
