Gary Nelson
Vice President, Research, Development and Engineering

Gary Nelson is responsible for leading Research, Development and Engineering for Jostens.

Nelson joined Jostens in 1991 in Scholastic engineering. He was promoted to vice president, R, D & E in 2008. His most recent position was director, Market Technology and R,D&E and prior to that, Nelson held various positions for Jostens including Memory Book engineering and IT Sales Force Automation.

Prior to joining Jostens, he was research manager for optical devices and fiber optics for Unisys.

He holds a master of science and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, both from the Institute of Technology at the University of Minnesota.
