The book, "Portrait of a Charleston Artist, is a magnificent full-color book that displays his talent in a way that the reader is able to not only enjoy the various paintings of life around Charleston, but to understand the reason a certain painting was produced. He gives a brief narrative about each painting and joins that with a history of Charleston that is very interesting.

John states that this is the best book he could have imagined and that the printing is "perfect!"
